What is *photo-remake?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

*photo-remake is a community which concentrates on the creative reproduction of photos made by photography masters. The concept of the group is pretty easy to describe. Every month a link to a photo masterpiece will be given which should act as the blueprint of what you are going to create. Take this photo as a model and recreate it with your cam.

You then send a link of the reproduction (which should be posted in dA) to this account. We will collect all submissions and set up a poll.

Everyone votes for the top 3 photos which finally will be posted in the groups gallery. Other prizes might be available later.



Rules of the Contest

This community lives through participation, not through membership! No membership is offered.

Everyone who wants may participate.

Everyone is allowed to submit one entry to a certain remake round.

Your remake should have a visible connection to the original photo. You are free to do whatever you like (shoot colour or b/w, use different items, etc.) but the connection to the original photo should be obvious.

Your entry should be photographic!


Judging & Prices

After the period for participating is over, a poll will be set up and the voting begins for 1 week. So you are the judges.

The top 3 (maybe 5) photos will be posted in the gallery. So after a time we should have a nice little collection of hommage-photos.
